Job Overview:

As a Lead Floor Installer at TMT Property Services, you will be responsible for leading a team in the installation of various flooring materials, including Vinyl Plank, Luxury Vinyl Plank, Luxury Vinyl Tile, and Hardwood. Job environments are primarily residential, with some commercial environments as well. You will coordinate daily materials pick-up, oversee the installation process, manage take-up dumping, and ensure all work is completed to company standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 1.5 years of proven experience in floor installation and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

- Lead a team in the installation of various flooring materials.

- Coordinate daily materials pick-up and ensure all necessary supplies are on hand.

- Oversee the installation process and ensure all work is completed to company standards.

- Manage take-up dumping and ensure proper disposal of materials.

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

- At least 1.5 years of proven experience in floor installation.

- Strong knowledge of various types of flooring materials and installation techniques.

- Must have your own floor install tools/kit and trim/baseboard install tools/kit.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

- Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation capable of transporting payload up to 2,500 pounds, inclusive of materials & tools. (Capable trailers are acceptable.)

- Must be able to transport flooring and related install materials, as well as take-up scraps to and from our distribution facility in Franklin, WI.
