The COO/CFO will have a strong finance and operations background with day-to-day responsibility for planning, controlling and managing all financial and critical operational activities of the company.

TMS & Brain Health is a multi-location integrative psychiatric center specializing in personalizing mental health treatment plans for individuals with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD. In particular, we emphasize evidence-based and emerging treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and ketamine therapy in intensive outpatient settings. We launched 3 years ago and have 4 locations in 3 different states, and are ready to start scaling nationwide in various ways. We believe that we can make high quality mental healthcare accessible while maintaining our core values of integrity, transparency, and expertise. We opened our first location in 2019, and are starting to build out an executive team now.


We’re looking for a hybrid COO/CFO who can work closely with the founder and CEO to assist in optimizing and growing the organization. The candidate will routinely evaluate the financial health of the organization and use that data to lead, manage, and create an efficient organizational structure for the company. This data will also serve to help shape the direction we go in as we evaluate both de novo and M&A strategies. This position will provide useful financial insights to help make better decisions about formulating and executing strategy. Other than the CEO, there are no other C Suite level employees yet. Our main office is based in Los Angeles, but the position itself can doesn’t necessarily need to be based in Los Angeles.


The COO/CFO is responsible for managing hands-on operational aspects of the company. They will assist the CEO in the aggressive and successful growth of the company while staying mindful of our mission. The candidate should have a working knowledge of the behavioral health landscape, including emerging therapies.


Duties: 

Leadership of day-to-day operational needs

 

Establishing and monitoring KPIs

 

Create and maintain key processes, systems, and general operational infrastructure

 

Routinely evaluate current operations to ensure alignment with the company’s vision

 

Define and communicate capital requirements to CEO

 

Provide financial insights that will assist with operational directions of the company

 

Manage cashflow


Requirements: 

At least 2 years of experience in healthcare preferred


At least 2 years of experience in scaling operations and/or strategic planning

 

Ability to be detail oriented without losing focus of the big picture

 

Internalization of our 3 core values (integrity, transparency, and expertise)

 

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
