Description

Position Overview

The Project Manager oversees planning, coordination, and execution of assigned projects from initiation through closeout. This role ensures all project activities remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with organizational standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. The Project Manager leads cross‑functional teams, manages resources, and maintains clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.


This position is for in person in Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; or Chesapeake, VA. (not remote)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
  • Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs.
  • Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate project records, reports, and status updates.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including kickoff, progress reviews, and closeout.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and client requirements.
  • Manage procurement activities, including vendor selection and contract oversight.
  • Support continuous improvement by evaluating project outcomes and recommending process enhancements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of project management experience (construction, operations, IT, or infrastructure preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar).
  • PMP or CAPM certification preferred.

Salary

$110,000 - $140,000 per year
