Description

Position Summary

The Field Technician is responsible for performing on‑site technical work, inspections, installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems at customer locations and project sites. This role supports field operations by ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with Company standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform field service tasks including installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of equipment and systems.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, specifications, and instructions.
  • Conduct site assessments, inspections, and documentation of field conditions.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide timely, effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely and in compliance with Company and OSHA standards.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and customers regarding work status, issues, and required follow‑up.
  • Complete all required reports, logs, and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain Company tools, vehicles, and equipment in clean, safe working condition.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements, hazard reporting, and jobsite protocols.
  • Support project teams with general labor, equipment setup, and field tasks as needed.
  • Represent the Company professionally at all times while on customer sites.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
  • Prior field experience in construction, mechanical, electrical, or related technical work strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, and schematics.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying environmental conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Work Environment

Salary

$27 - $45 per hour
