The Commercial Lines Team Lead serves as an insurance expert and relationship specialist with the goal of enhancing the client experience through providing optimal insurance and relationship solutions now and in the future.
Description
Responsibilities:
- Make sure that the team is responding to client requests and the requests are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain a good working relationship with company underwriter.
- Maintain a good working relationship with clients.
- Maintain a good working relationship with the team.
- Assign new business as it comes to account managers and make sure that it gets completed in a timely manner
- Report to the Sales Manager weekly on new business and renewals.
- Maintain your service work, making sure that your service work is complete in a timely manner.
- Report any issues with companies and/or immediately to the Sales Manager or Operations Manager
- Assign any requests from sales advisors to a commercial account manager.
Supervision:
- Oversee the commercial lines account managers.
- Oversee new business and renewal business for the commercial lines department.
- Make sure the service requests are complete.
- Make sure requests from the clients of the sales advisors are taken care of.

- Ability to advise the best insurance policy for individual client’s needs.
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of Commercial Lines experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Salary
$65,000 - $75,000 per year
