Position Summary
The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of clinical services, ensuring high-quality patient care, staff coordination, compliance with healthcare regulations, and efficient workflow. This role bridges administrative functions and clinical responsibilities, supporting clinical staff and enhancing client/consumers outcomes.
- Clinical Coordinator is a salaried year round position with a schedule of at least 40 hours per week with an 8 hour work day. During the school year the expected working hours are from 8am-4pm.
- This position requires high visibility and presence at the schools.
- Clinical Coordinator will not have restrictive work hours if there is a crisis and hours outside of the agreed upon schedule are needed

Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Expectations
- Clinical Coordinator will maintain a weekly caseload of at least 14 school sessions
- Documentation will be completed following Thrive Policy and Guidelines as indicated in the Employee Handbook
- Complete internal audits and will assist with ensuring 90-day reviews and annual assessments are completed by counselors
- Complete crisis assessments/sessions when needed
- Clinical Coordinator will comply with Employment Agreement that is reviewed and signed
- Manage caseload transitions for staff off-boarding
- Staffing and Supervision
- Collaborate and coordinate with the Human Resources Specialist to complete clinical and site onboarding for all new employees and interns
- Conduct 30/60/90 day reviews for all new hired employees
- Clinical Coordinator will observe at least 3 sessions per week for newly hired provisionally licensed clinicians for the first 30 days.
- Provide individual supervision to all school-based staff. Provisionally licensed clinicians should be supervised weekly. Fully licensed clinicians should be supervised at least one time monthly.
- Clinical Coordinator will observe school based sessions for all provisionally licensed clinicians at least per quarter or more if needed.
- Conduct annual employee evaluations to ensure employee adherence and compliance with all company policies and standards
- Administrative and Site Management
- Conduct the quarterly clinical meetings and make them your own
- Partnership and collaboration with the Scheduling Coordinator to provide oversight, maintenance, and problem solving of clinical schedules with a focus on productivity and quality
- Serve as the initial point of contact for clients regarding service issues or concerns
- Liaison to the Clover School District and serve as the main point of contact for the administration
- Conduct monthly visits to each school in the district
- Develop and facilitate new program features in partnership with the school district
- Possess comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in the company's EHR system, serving as a reliable resource for clinicians and assisting with troubleshooting any issues that may arise
- Carry the on-call phone when backup is needed
- Respond to all communication with clinicians, clients, and administrators within 1 business day
- Abides by company compliance program, HIPAA regulations and other policies and procedures
- Maintain a high level of communication with the Clinical Operations Manager regarding all site issues and concerns
- Participation and attendance of all scheduled meetings
- Will assist in other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Counseling or Social Work plus 2 years relevant professional experience
- Current and active full licensure in Counseling or Social Work in the state of South Carolina
- Experience with supervision, mentoring, and/or clinical development preferred but not required
