Position Summary:

The VP, Supply Chain and Operations at 3BN will be a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and have the unique opportunity to drive an already profitable, beloved, and growing business to its next stage of growth. This leader will define elevated operational processes, bring discipline and structure to a disjointed supply chain, and develop the path towards increased direct international sourcing. The VP, Supply Chain and Operations will be a strategic, hands-on, innovative, collaborative, and process-oriented leader. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Supply Chain and Operations, including Procurement, and 3PL Management. This vital role will require strong leadership capabilities and the ability to inspire a team that is dispersed across multiple locations. Reporting to the CEO, the VP, Supply Chain and Operations is directly responsible for warehouse operations, establishing a scalable supply chain, procurement (direct and indirect), and establishing a cost-effective, international supplier base. The VP, Supply Chain and Operations will prioritize authentic and purposeful relationships across the organization. As a passionate and strategic leader, they will have experience operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and will bring relevant category expertise and a process-oriented approach.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • 3PL Management
  • Accountable for performance, cost control, service levels, and billing accuracy
  • Direct ownership of outbound shipping, returns, and overall 3PL cost structure
  • Enact a scorecard to measure 3PL performance
  • Drive scalability across fulfillment operations
  • Serve as day-to-day liaison between 3BN and 3PL
  • Collaborate and provide necessary forecasts for 3PL planning
  • Lead holiday and event planning to ensure 3PL performance
  • Supplier Management
  • Enact scorecards to measure, share, and improve supplier performance
  • Establish a process to share product insights and future needs
  • Initiate business review meetings with top suppliers
  • Establish auditing and oversight process for direct suppliers
  • Procurement Oversight
  • Manage the 3BN Procurement team
  • Evaluate and improve existing processes
  • Ensure that procurement capabilities keep up with inventory/product requirements
  • Setup indirect procurement (e.g. packaging, shipping material, etc)
  • Ownership of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) – build a structured planning cadence to align the demand forecast, inventory, and financial targets
  • Inventory Management
  • Partner with Chief Merchant to establish inventory targets
  • Manage the OTB process, ensuring that quality and quantity metrics are maintained
  • Work through all supply constraints to sales forecast
  • Carrier & Transportation Management
  • Ownership of carrier services including contracts, negotiations and ongoing optimization
  • Set strategy for shipping account usage to optimize cost and performance
  • System & Data Ownership
  • Ownership of all supply chain data and reporting (e.g. WMS, forecasting tools, etc)
  • Ensure data accuracy and alignment across systems architecture (e.g. ShipHero, Shopify, Inventory Planner, etc)
  • Pre-Sale Management
  • Ensure that orders are placed and managed to meet pre-sale commitments
  • Partner with suppliers to deliver products via pre-sale in accordance with 3BN plans


Desired Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Operations, with demonstrated success creating solutions that make the business more scalable, keeping pace with a high growth environment.
  • Experience leading in a high-performance, high-growth apparel business with digital and fashion.
  • A history of driving efficiencies in product costs and operating expenses.
  • Affinity for partnering with and influencing senior business leaders while growing talent within one's own team and across the enterprise is needed.
  • An affinity for a creative, solutions-oriented approach to meeting the needs of the business, brand aesthetic, and customer is desired.
  • An authentic leader with apparel experience and strong analytical skills is required.


Salary

$175,000 - $200,000 per year
