This One Counts is the sports and high-volume portrait division of Sarah Gallagher Studios. We photograph youth athletes, teams, and leagues throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. This is a part-time, seasonal role, and it’s not a camera job—it’s a people job. You’ll help us keep busy photo days organized, upbeat, and moving while making sure every kid feels comfortable and confident in front of the camera. No photography experience or equipment needed. We’ll train you on everything you need to know.

We're a growing photography team looking for energetic, dependable people who enjoy working with kids and can help keep busy photo days organized, upbeat, and moving smoothly.
We're looking for people who bring common sense, clear communication, and a positive attitude. We'll train you on our photo-day system so you know exactly what to do and can feel confident doing it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll work alongside the photographer to help pose athletes, demonstrate simple stances, fix small details, keep the line moving, and help photo day feel organized, positive, and efficient.
IS THIS THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOUR SCHEDULE?
This is a part-time, seasonal role. Work is scheduled by photo day rather than by a regular weekly shift.
• Busy seasons: September–November and March–June
• Most photo days are weekday evenings and weekends, usually 4–8 hours
This role can be a great fit alongside a day job, school, coaching, or family schedule. It is not a full-time position and does not offer guaranteed weekly hours.

• Is punctual and dependable
• Is comfortable demonstrating simple poses and athletic stances
REQUIREMENTS
• Must be 18 or older
• Reliable transportation; most photo days are in Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut, with occasional travel
• Comfortable standing and staying active for several hours
• Background checks are required after an offer, including CORI and national screening, as well as SafeSport certification, because we work with children
Pay is $25/hour for photo-day work.
