Founded in 2016 in Atlanta, GA, Think and Ink Grant Consulting® (DBA Think and Ink Grants®) provides customized, practical, and real-world solutions to help nonprofit organizations “think” through effective grant-seeking strategies and “ink” competitive proposals. 


We specialize in grants supporting women, children, health, and education- the most vulnerable members of our society. Primary Function


Think and Ink Grant Consulting is seeking an individual with three or more years of marketing and business development experience to fill the role of a temp-to-hire Marketing and Business Development Officer. This person must be interested in marketing and creative activities such as social media, developing and deploying marketing materials, and executing sales calls. This position reports to and is managed by the CEO.

 

Role Description


The Marketing and Business Development Officer will be responsible for being the sales and marketing contact for our firm. Tasks include providing complimentary consultations for potential clients interested in learning more about our firm, creating sales and pitch decks, updating our website, and deploying sales campaigns via social media, our distribution lists, and more.  This role requires a combination of creative skills, communication skills, and people skills to effectively engage potential future clients.


Job Responsibilities


Marketing


  • Approve social media posts sent for approval by our third-party marketing firm contracted by Think and Ink Grant Consulting®.
  • Update our website www.thinkandinkgrants.com, and upload blog posts as needed.
  • Support the collection of testimonials and client feedback to post publicly.
  • Lead marketing and sales campaigns as needed.
  • Support the launching of ad hoc marketing events.
  • Create and send newsletters to distribution lists.


Business Development


  • Conduct complimentary consultations for potential clients.
  • Send proposals and answer questions as a follow-up complimentary consultation.
  • Respond to requests for services received via phone calls and email.
  • Design marketing materials as needed to support the sales process.
  • Support the launch of new programming.
  • Manage the entire sales process in our CRM.

Basic Qualifications


Education: High School diploma, Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. 

Experience: Minimum of three (3) years experience in marketing or business development

Experience with or has the ability to learn the following systems and software: Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), Canva, Adobe, Hubspot, TeamWork, and Better Proposals.

Preferred Qualifications 


Education: Master's Degree

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years experience in marketing or business development


Classification: This is a remote, 20-hours-per-week contract position.
