TheraSupport Behavioral Health & Wellness offers two distinct but complementary areas of service.

Our Residential Supported Independent Living (SIL) Program provides individualized support for people living with traumatic brain injuries. The program focuses on promoting independence, developing daily living skills, and improving overall quality of life in a supportive residential environment.

Separately, our Outpatient Clinic provides comprehensive therapy, neuropsychological, and wellness services to individuals with a variety of neurological, behavioral health, and rehabilitation needs.

Across both programs, we embrace a person-centered philosophy, emphasizing individualized care, professional collaboration, and compassion. Our goal is to help each individual achieve their highest level of independence, well-being, and quality of life.

We're looking for an experienced medical billing professional who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in getting things right, and appreciates working in an environment where people genuinely know and support one another.

Our billing is a little different from that of a typical medical practice. We work with a mix of outpatient healthcare services and Michigan auto no-fault insurance claims, making this an interesting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and learning new things.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing, reviewing, and submitting medical claims, including Michigan auto no-fault insurance claims
• Monitoring claims and following up on outstanding, rejected, or denied submissions
• Posting insurance payments and reconciling Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
• Identifying and resolving billing discrepancies, underpayments, and reimbursement issues
• Verifying insurance coverage, benefits, eligibility, and deductible status
• Determining patient responsibility, including co-pays and deductibles, when applicable
• Maintaining accurate billing records and supporting documentation

Who We're Looking For

• Previous medical billing experience, including electronic claim submission and payment posting
• Knowledge of medical billing practices, CPT/HCPCS codes, and insurance reimbursement
• Experience with auto insurance billing is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with insurance portals, clearinghouses, and electronic billing systems
• Experience with TheraOffice or RevConnect is a plus, but not required
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
• Someone who is comfortable working independently but also enjoys being part of a team
• A good communicator who is willing to ask questions, share ideas, and help solve problems

Schedule

Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, on-site in Ann Arbor.
