We are currently seeking a part-time dynamic and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team for a position in either outpatient, home health/early intervention, or a combination of both. Your Responsibilities as a Therapy South OT:

  • Evaluate, screen, and provide treatment for pediatric developmental conditions or feeding disorders in children.
  • Provide assessment and/or consultation regarding gross motor, fine motor, oral-motor, feeding skills, sensory health and social function, according to each learner's needs.
  • Develop, document, write, and clearly communicate treatment goals and treatment plans that honors the child’s present level, the family's unique abilities, and a realistic timeline.
  • Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals at Therapy South.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to support optimal client success.
  • Contribute to clinical meetings and support the unique and rich culture at Therapy South.
  • Manage caseload details and work with caregivers to achieve common goals.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately, on time, and in accordance with department standards; in addition, documentation complies with patient insurance requirements.
  • Support the family and/or admin team with schedule management, which may include assisting with appointment confirmations, cancellations and/or rescheduling.


We are Currently Looking for Candidates with the Following Qualifications:

  • Minimum one-year clinical experience working with pediatric clients.
  • Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • California Occupational Therapy License or be license-eligible
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and move easily on the floor during therapy sessions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a propensity for problem-solving and working within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong technology skills and the ability to work within numerous online platforms such as Google Workspace, Trello, SLACK, and our Electronic Medical Record.
  • A genuine joy and passion for working with children and their families
  • A child-led approach to therapeutic care and a whole brain-body approach to child development.

(Salary is based upon the 2024-2025 approved salary scale)
