The Clinical Director is responsible for the clinic operations and ensures that the location (s) has the best procedures to care for our clients and their families. This person will work closely with upper management and staff members to coordinate operations in a way that supports business goals and client needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • NC Licensed Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, or Physical Therapist.
  • 3+ Years of leadership experience in a similar environment.
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration: Engage with other departments and stakeholders to promote collaboration and enhance patient care coordination.
  • Design and implement business strategies, policies, procedures, and protocols to assist the clinic in achieving business goals
  • Oversee the department’s compliance with legal policies, guidelines, and safety standards
  • Ensure departments have sufficient and qualified personnel
  • Organize and manage all patient care, administrative operations and programs, ensuring quality assurance and patient safety.
  • Ensure all medical records and other clinical documentation are current and within state and federal laws
  • Perform quarterly and annual employee reviews and provide feedback on their performance to help motivate their dedication to professional goals
  • Plan and manage the clinic’s budget and approve payroll
  • Act as a connection between patients, their families and additional care staff
  • Participate in clinical, administrative, and managerial meetings

Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment when making decisions 
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with clinical staff and patients
  • Problem solving skills when resolving administrative issues and conflicts
  • Detailed knowledge of policies and regulations in the clinical field
  • Ability to delegate and supervise tasks as required
  • Good understanding of budget and resources planning budgeting in addition to evaluation procedures and methods
  • Hands-on skills in dealing with clinical computer systems such as EMR
