What You’ll Do
As a Clinical Psychologist at TC&C, you will have the opportunity to:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
- Provide evidence-based individual, family, and/or couples therapy.
- Administer, score, interpret, and prepare integrated psychological assessment reports.
- Conduct ADHD, learning disability, personality, diagnostic clarification, and other psychological evaluations based on your areas of expertise.
- Collaborate closely with Licensed Professional Counselors, Residents in Counseling, PMHNPs, and psychiatrists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Participate in interdisciplinary case consultations and clinical collaboration.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and ethical documentation.
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of psychological services within TC&C.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold best practices in psychological care.
Preferred Areas of Interest
We welcome psychologists with experience or interest in:
- ADHD evaluations
- Psychological testing
- Diagnostic clarification
- Trauma-informed care
- Autism spectrum evaluations
- Mood and anxiety disorders
- Personality assessments
- Women’s mental health
- Military, veterans, first responders, and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program (or equivalent).
- Active Virginia license as a Clinical Psychologist (or ability to obtain licensure before employment).
- Experience providing psychotherapy and/or psychological assessments.
- Excellent clinical judgment and strong written communication skills.
- Commitment to ethical practice, collaboration, and professional growth.
Preferred:
- Experience with insurance-based outpatient practice.
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations.
- Familiarity with electronic health records.
- Interest in contributing to program development and innovation.
