SPN Navigator, you will be assisting young scholars and families keep on track with the annual schedule, monthly sessions and activities. A key part of this role is to get each scholar in your caseload certified in ScholarPrep Nation’s program
ScholarPrep Nation (SPN), is a virtual Afrocentric college access program for young scholars 8th - 12th grade. ScholarPrep Nation brings together talented and motivated students from around the world into a vibrant community with educators, coaches and trainers who are passionate about their disciplines, accomplished in their fields and, above all, dedicated to teaching.
As a key team member of the SPN Advising Team (A-Team), you will assist talented and motivated students as they develop academic plans and navigate their academic journey. The SPN Navigator will be a bridge for SPN Scholars and families to have access to the full range of academic advising services found in ScholarPrep Nation. The SPN A-Team utilizes a collaborative and team-oriented approach to ensure that scholars receive the same messaging and level of guidance. The SPN will be assigned to a set number of scholars and operate as a conduit of information to and from the SPN A-Team. The ability to communicate with colleagues and families, understand the unique nature of the school and its students, and to contribute ideas about new initiatives that will advance the goals of ScholarPrep Nation are vital to success in this position.
Your responsibilities include:
Provide academic accountability and coaching services primarily to 8th-12th grade students in our virtual/web-based platform, ScholarPrep Nation. As a SPN Navigator, you will be assisting young scholars and families keep on track with the annual schedule, monthly sessions and activities. A key part of this role is to get each scholar in your caseload certified in ScholarPrep Nation’s program.

To be successful in this position, you will bring:
Some college (at least 36 units preferred), years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
$15 - $20 per hour
