SUMMARY

The Account Coordinator objective is to support account management team and ensure smooth operations for clients. This role assists the day-to-day management of local marketing and advertising business activity.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

  •  Manage email and track communication
  • Own and coordinate internal and client status meeting invitations, documents, and communication
  • Write meeting minutes and file them in the appropriate folders
  • Manage account/project calendar
  • Support the Media, Creative, Outreach & Events teams
  • Organize files & maintain SharePoint sites for team
  • Support project managers and account leads in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports
  • Organize account expenses and manage supporting documentation of account expenditures
  • Provide support to accounting and operations
  • Support outreach and event teams, as needed
  • Attend in-person and virtual meetings with clients and partners 
  • Staff events, as needed
  • Support data collection and reporting
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the account as directed by the account leads
  • Occasionally set-up and staff project events
  • Occasionally travel to alternative work locations, including TVA, project and client sites.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 1 year experience in similar position
  • Associates degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or a related field.
  • Experience working in a public relations or communications agency setting.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products; especially well versed in Teams, SharePoint & Excel.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (required); experience using Hubspot or other CRM, project management software (Scoro) and Miro preferred

  • Detail oriented with ability to handle multiple responsibilities and priorities while meeting deadlines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to sit at a desk for four or more hours a day, and use office equipment, including phones and computer keyboards, for four or more hours per day. Individuals must be able to engage clients over the phone and in-person by voice. Must be able to travel to attend and conduct events in the Puget Sound area. This may require physical agility to push-pull, squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, and to reach overhead. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
