The Starz Program is hiring teachers for our Hampton Roads (Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Norfolk) location. The position will entail teaching dance (ballet/jazz), sports and/or cheerleading in various preschools and private schools within the area. This position is less than PART TIME (2-10 classes throughout the week), Monday-Friday during the day time hours.

What we look for in a Starz Teacher:

• Responsible – arrives early to each class, can manage a class of up to 10 students, organized and can keep accurate attendance.
• Professional – neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with partner schools' staff.
• Enthusiastic – MUST enjoy teaching and working with young children, be able to confidently connect with children primarily ages 3-6.
• Fun – enjoys having FUN with young children, being goofy, using your imagination, and watching children smile all while managing and teaching an effective class.
• Reliable transportation – must have reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver’s license.
• Organization- Instructors are given a monthly lesson plan and curriculum to follow but will need time to prepare for classes outside of the classroom.

Pay: $25-$35 per class
