Clinical Supervisor
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite – Hybrid)
Job Type: Part-Time, W-2 Employee
Work Schedule: Three days in-office (6 hours per day), with remote sessions allowed for billable therapy
Compensation & Earning Potential
- Base Salary: $800/month for in-office program oversight and compliance work
- Performance Bonus: $500 per quarter, with potential increases based on performance
- Billable Therapy Rate: $50 per session
- Comprehensive Clinical Assessments (CCAs): $50 per CCA
- Mileage Reimbursement: Available for client visits and office travel
- W-2 Employee Benefits: Eligible for applicable employment benefits based on part-time status
Estimated Total Earnings:
- Base Salary: $800/month
- If completing 10 billable sessions per week at $50 per session: $2,000/month
- Total potential earnings: $2,800+/month (Base + Billables + Bonus Potential)
Work Expectations
- Required to be in-office three days per week, six hours per day
- Minimum caseload of 10 billable therapy sessions per week (remote or in-person)
- Total expected weekly hours: 18-20, including program oversight, supervision, and billable sessions
- Compliance with organizational policies and procedures as a W-2 employee
Position Overview
The Clinical Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical services, therapist compliance, and program effectiveness. This position works closely with the Clinical Director and leadership team to provide clinical supervision, compliance oversight, and direct client care.
This is a part-time W-2 employee position, offering stability while allowing flexibility for earning through billable therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Supervision & Compliance
- Oversee therapist documentation to ensure compliance with Medicaid/NCDHHS standards
- Conduct performance reviews and provide corrective feedback as needed
- Supervise and support therapists in improving clinical documentation and service delivery
- Ensure timely submission of treatment plans, session notes, CCAs, and discharge summaries
Direct Client Care (Therapy & Assessments)
- Conduct Comprehensive Clinical Assessments (CCAs) as needed
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions (minimum of 10 sessions per week)
- Assist in developing treatment plans and implementing evidence-based interventions
Collaboration with Leadership
- Work closely with the Clinical Director and leadership team to improve clinical workflows
- Support and mentor new therapists, providing guidance on compliance and best practices
- Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives
Training & Quality Assurance
- Conduct monthly compliance audits and provide training for therapists
- Ensure all services align with evidence-based practices and Medicaid standards
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Active Clinical License (LCMHCA, LCSWA, LMFTA, etc.) in North Carolina
- Experience in clinical supervision, therapist coaching, or program management preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid documentation and compliance standards
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
