Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – In-Office & Remote)

Employment Type: Salaried, W-2

Base Salary: $2,000/month ($24,000/year)

Additional Compensation:

  • $50 per therapy session
  • $60 per Comprehensive Clinical Assessment (CCA)
  • Up to $60/week travel reimbursement between office sites

TSG Behavioral Health & Community Services is hiring a Clinical Director to oversee all clinical operations, supervise licensed and associate-level therapists, lead documentation compliance, manage interns, and maintain a small billable caseload. This hybrid, leadership-focused role includes 3–4 in-office days per week with remote flexibility and limited on-call responsibilities for urgent clinical decisions or support.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Compliance Oversight

  • Serve as the clinical authority across all programs, including OPT, Peer Support, CST, SAIOP, SACOT, IIHS, DWI Services, and any future programs
  • Approve treatment plans, service authorizations, and clinical documentation
  • Conduct internal chart audits and oversee audit readiness
  • Ensure compliance with NC DHHS, Medicaid, and agency policies
  • Provide guidance on ethical service delivery and documentation best practices
  • Be available on-call for documentation questions, therapist support, or escalated client issues

Supervision & Staff Development

  • Supervise licensed and associate-level therapists and documentation team members
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and supervision of new clinical hires and interns
  • Lead monthly individual and group clinical supervision sessions
  • Provide support for clinical development, documentation quality, and policy compliance
  • Manage and mentor the clinical internship program, ensuring accountability and growth

Program Development & Administrative Support

  • Collaborate with the Agency Director, Medical Director, and Operations Team on workflow optimization, documentation standards, and quality assurance
  • Maintain required licensure and credentialing with all payor sources
  • Represent the agency during audits, strategic meetings, or community collaborations
  • Assist in implementing updated clinical policies and compliance initiatives

Client Services (Billable Caseload Required)

  • Maintain a minimum caseload of 5–10 therapy sessions per week
  • $50 per session (virtual or in-person)
  • Complete Comprehensive Clinical Assessments (CCAs) as part of your caseload
  • $60 per assessment
  • Additional sessions may be added for increased earnings

Compensation & Benefits Summary

  • Base Salary: $2,000/month = $24,000/year
  • Billables:
  • 5–10 sessions/week = $1,000–$2,000/month
  • CCA assessments: $60 each
  • Quarterly Bonuses: Based on documentation quality, audit readiness, and leadership performance
  • Travel Reimbursement: Up to $60/week for inter-office travel
  • Technology Provided: Company-issued laptop and work phone

Schedule

  • 3–4 days/week in-office, averaging 18–24 hours/week on-site
  • Flexible remote time for documentation, supervision prep, and meetings
  • Total weekly time commitment: ~20–25 hours
  • On-call availability required for real-time clinical approvals, supervision support, and internal consultation

Qualifications

  • Active North Carolina license: LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or higher (Required)
  • LCAS or LCAS-A preferred
  • At least 2 years of post-licensure experience (supervision experience preferred)
  • Experience working with Medicaid populations and NC clinical coverage policies
  • Strong documentation and leadership skills
