Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate, patient and experienced person with a growth mindset for a Part-Time Special Needs Potty Training Consultant to join our team. This role involves working one-on-one with parents & guardians of children with special needs to develop and implement customized potty training programs. The consultant will provide support, guidance, and education to parents/guardians helping them create a positive and effective learning environment that leads towards pottying independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the needs of individuals with special needs to develop individualized potty training plans.
- Hold Zoom/Phone consultations in a quiet distraction-free environment.
- Help parents/guardians successfully implement a potty training plan for their child.
- Educate caregivers about positive reinforcement, behavioral strategies, and sensory integration to ensure a successful potty training experience.
- Create a supportive, non-judgmental, and empathetic atmosphere for both clients and families.
- Participates in projects and initiatives that contribute to the overall success of the company.
- Public speaking experience required, both virtually and in-person.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with families of and/or individuals with special needs.
- Strong knowledge of developmental disabilities and behavior management techniques.
- Compassionate, empathetic approach to working with individuals and families.
- Has experience potty training, can be professional or personal.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience providing family support and education. Background in special education, psychology, occupational therapy, or related fields preferred.
- Home office within 1-hour of an international airport
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Drive, Docs, Calendar, Slides, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
- Ability to learn and use new technology such as a CRM, videos on phone, receipt uploading, etc.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally.
Schedule & Hours:
- This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
- Hours may vary depending on client needs and will ebb and flow depending on the season
- 8-10 hours/week: Phone/Zoom and admin time anticipated.
- 3-9 travel days/month: Travel Required, must have REAL ID - Valid Passport Required for possible future international travel. Must be comfortable with travel via car, rideshare and air.
- Some evenings and weekends availability will be required.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate based on experience, $20 - $28/hr.
- Opportunity for growth within the company as we expand our services.
- Travel hours will be paid at your home base location’s minimum wage, unless you are working on admin/consulting tasks.
