Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the unique needs of each child.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address sensory processing, fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, self-care skills, and other areas of development.
- Utilize play-based activities and therapeutic techniques to engage children and promote skill acquisition in a fun and motivating manner.
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with parents/caregivers to provide education and support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric developmental disorders and treatment approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
