About the Interior Plant Design Consultant Role

The Interior Plant Design Consultant role helps The Plant Peddler and its clients create great environments, enhancing some of Atlanta's best interior spaces. Specifically, the role encompasses collaborating with end-clients, architects, designers, and project managers to design interior plantscapes.  The person that fills the role will leverage design skills and plant knowledge to recommend plants and plant containers that will be the finishing touches on great environments.

Design:

• Leverage architectural drawings, renderings, style guides, listening skills, and site visits to: 
• Recommend the right plant for the right place, taking into account design intent, light levels, and other environmental factors
• Recommend plant containers, taking into account design intent and functional needs

Sales

• Produce proposals that meet client budget constraints
• Manage The Plant Peddler’s sales process to successfully close deals

Account Management:

• Manage The Plant Peddler post-sales process to ensure intra-company peers execute installations and customer on-boarding
• Serve as point of contact for end-clients, architects, interior designers, and project managers
• Nurture client relationships to encourage retention and up-selling

Business Development:

• Attend trade events to engage with industry peers

Ideal Candidate:

• Has interest in and familiarity with interior tropical plants
• Has interior design experience
• Has a passion for creating great spaces
• Proficient in use of web-based software (Google Workspace, CRM, etc.)
