About the Horticultural Operations Manager Role

Horticultural Operations Manager leads a team of employees that help The Plant Peddler and its clients create great environments, enhancing some of Atlanta's best interior spaces. Specifically, the role encompasses a number of duties that helps keep The Plant Peddler running, including greenhouse plant maintenance, plant maintenance at client sites, and the staging/installation of environments including commercial settings, weddings, graduations, conferences, etc.

Technical Duties:

• Manage scheduling of operation team employees
• Lead preparation of plants for delivery to client sites
• Lead staging/installation of plants at client sites at the direction of The Plant Peddler's design team and design partners
• Lead installation of seasonal Holiday Decor
• Lead delivery of recurring plant rotations
• Help maintain plants on client sites
• Help maintain plants in The Plant Peddler greenhouses

Customer Service Duties:

• Exhibit courteous behavior at all times while engaging clients.

Ideal Candidate:

• Has horticultural experience
• Has managerial experience
• Has staging, installation, or merchandising experience
• Able to lift plants and staging/installation materials, including 6' - 8' trees
