Description

We are looking for a dedicated and licensed counselor with a specialization, or willingness to specialize, in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety-related disorders. The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients struggling with OCD, anxiety, and related conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). A candidate with a clear commitment to learning these treatment approaches is also acceptable.


As an OCD and Anxiety Specialist, you will provide compassionate, client-centered care to individuals and families affected by OCD and anxiety disorders, assisting them in achieving lasting recovery and an improved mental health experience. You will collaborate with a growing team, contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans, and provide education and support to clients and their families.


Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver Exposure and Response Prevention therapy (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for clients with OCD and anxiety disorders.

- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans using CBT, ERP, and other evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

- Perform assessments and evaluations to diagnose OCD, anxiety, and related disorders.

- Educate clients and their families on the nature of OCD and anxiety.

- Maintain accurate and confidential client records following state and federal guidelines.

- Stay updated with research and continuing education related to OCD and anxiety treatment.


Qualifications:

- Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field

- Valid state licensure (CPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)

- Specialized training in (or a commitment to learn) the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders (ERP training preferred)

- At least [2] year of clinical experience treating OCD and anxiety (preferred)

- Strong understanding of evidence-based treatments, including ERP, ACT, and CBT

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Ethical and trustworthy behaviors


Preferred Skills:

- Experience in telehealth and online counseling platforms

- Ability to work with diverse populations and various anxiety-related presentations

- Dedication to ongoing professional development in the field of OCD and anxiety treatment

Salary

$60 - $90 per hour
