We're in search of a proficient Handyman to become part of our team, lending a hand with an array of repair, maintenance, and enhancement tasks for our clients' residences, both indoors and outdoors. Under the guidance of the team lead, the ideal candidate will evaluate repair needs, handle basic fixes, tackle routine maintenance duties, and beyond.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Assess repair work and provide estimates
- Complete basic repairs such as fixing wall damage and broken windows
- Perform general maintenance tasks
- Assist with electrical, flooring, interior painting, drywall repairs, and much more
- Move heavy furniture, appliances, and equipment as needed
- Clean exterior surfaces and paint as required
- Handle additional installation, repair, and maintenance duties as necessary
- Follow workplace health and safety guidelines
- Load and unload tools and equipment from work vehicles
- Communicate with customers and handle complaints professionally
- Track billable hours and job details using our app
Handyman Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid handyman or relevant trade license
- 1+ years of experience in a handyman role
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical work
- Carpentry skills and proficiency with hand and power tools
- Physical ability to lift, stand, kneel, and climb ladders
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
Working Hours:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (end day may extend to 6:00pm - 7:00pm)
- Overtime is require occasionally on Saturday
Compensation:
- Competitive pay based on experience ranges from $100 - $200 daily
Applicants must undergo a background check and drug test prior to employment.
