Compensation: $16 – $20 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview

As a Front Desk Associate, you are the first point of contact for guests and play a key role in ensuring a seamless and memorable stay. You’ll handle reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, assist with guest inquiries, and coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, and other resort departments to deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately in the property management system
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Provide information about resort amenities, dining options, local attractions, and activities
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints with empathy and efficiency, escalating issues when needed
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate financial records for front desk transactions
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms and domes are guest-ready
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and lobby environment
  • Assist with retail sales in the General Store, including processing transactions and stocking items
  • Support resort operations by assisting other team members as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Proficiency with computers and reservation systems (training provided)
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
