Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including history and physical exams
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention, health maintenance, and lifestyle changes
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system


Qualifications

Preferred

  • Autonomous Practice APRN license in the state of Florida (preferred)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates may be considered)
  • Experience in primary care, family practice, or urgent care setting

Required

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
  • Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC or FNP-C)
  • Active and unrestricted Florida APRN license
  • DEA license (or eligibility)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
