Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including history and physical exams
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, health maintenance, and lifestyle changes
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system
Qualifications
Preferred
- Autonomous Practice APRN license in the state of Florida (preferred)
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates may be considered)
- Experience in primary care, family practice, or urgent care setting
Required
- Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC or FNP-C)
- Active and unrestricted Florida APRN license
- DEA license (or eligibility)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred
