Located at 205 Main Street in Louisville, The Market is a full-service grocery store that is modernizing the small-town grocery experience.  We focus on fresh food and exceptional customer service. ALL candidates must demonstrate best in class customer service skills and be willing to work together as a team toward common goals. Candidates are subject to a background check, drug test and will start as a 30-day trial period to ensure a great fit between The Market and Employee.

Customer Experience Associate

Job Description:

The #1 Priority of the CEA (Customer Experience Associate) is to provide an exceptional shopping experience for customers at The Market. All CEAs will be expected to learn a variety of tasks that all make the customer’s experience wonderful from the moment they step into The Market.

What does this look like on a day to day basis and what duties could this include?

*Always greeting and engaging customers when they walk through the door

*Answering questions and always providing solutions

*Suggested selling

*Operating the check lane register

*Bagging and carrying out groceries for customers

*Creating eye-catching displays that generate sales

*Unloading trucks as needed 

*Ensuring shelves are tidy and stocked

*Take and fulfill phone and email orders for curbside pickup

*Other duties as needed that make the customer’s shopping experience exceptional


*Must be friendly, outgoing and provide best in class customer service

*A neat and tidy appearance 

*Ability to work well with others as a team to achieve common daily goals

*Must be able to lift up to 25lbs


$12 - $14 per hour
