Shift hours scheduled between 3:00pm and 2:00am
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Follow safe food service protocols in accordance with Health Department standards
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly
- Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Keep accurate records in the POS system and process transactions
- Monitor and supervise the Busser as needed
- Clear and clean tables when the Busser is unavailable
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Minimum Qualifications
- CA ABC Responsible Beverage Server certification required
- CA Food Handler certification required
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Must have some bartending experience
- Basic mathematical skills; ability to make change
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong English language skills preferred, bilingual a plus
- Multi-task oriented
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
- Must be able to suggestively sell food and beverage items
