As a Line Cook at The Little Room, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen team by cooking and preparing menu items for our customers. You will be responsible for stocking food preparation stations, following recipes accurately, and ensuring a clean and organized working environment.

Shift hours scheduled between 3:00pm and 2:00am


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Follow safe food service protocols in accordance with Health Department standards
  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with customer requests and company standards
  • Stock and organize food preparation stations before and after each shift
  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by following food safety regulations
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Minimum of one to three years of restaurant experience required 
  • Experience in food preparation and presentation preferred
  • CA Food Handler certification required
  • Previous experience managing cost controls 
  • Desire to learn and grow with a top-notch foodservice company 
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays 
  • Strong English language skills preferred, bilingual a plus
