The Little Room is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Barback to join our team. The Barback will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized to provide exceptional service to our guests. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Shift hours scheduled between 3:00pm and 2:00am
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Follow safe food service protocols in accordance with Health Department standards
- Deliver inventory and supplies to the bar area
- Remove used glasses, bottles, dishes, and tableware
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area
- Assist bartenders with any tasks as needed
- Restock bar supplies as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
Minimum Qualifications
- CA ABC Responsible Beverage Server certification
- CA Food Handler certification
- Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items (dishes, tubs, etc.)
- Previous restaurant experience strongly preferred
- Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure
- Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
- Strong English language skills preferred, bilingual a plus
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
- Excellent customer service to treat patrons like family
- Ability to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documents
- Demonstrated desire to become a bartender
