We are currently seeking a motivated, loving, and experienced Toddler Lead Teacher who is ready to take ownership of their classroom and lead with intention, structure, and heart.


Position Summary

The Toddler Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, maintaining a structured and nurturing classroom environment, and building strong relationships with children, families, and team members.

This role requires someone who is accountable, organized, and passionate about early childhood education, with a strong understanding of Colorado licensing regulations and health standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum for toddlers
  • Create a consistent daily schedule and classroom routine
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Provide daily communication and updates through the Procare system
  • Ensure compliance with Colorado Rules & Regulations and El Paso County Health Department standards
  • Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety at all times
  • Collaborate with leadership and team members to support center goals


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1–2 years experience in early childhood education (toddler experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of Colorado licensing requirements
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented
  • Passion for working with young children and making a positive impact


Preferred Qualifications

  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework or PDIS Level 2 certification
  • Experience using Procare or similar child care management systems
  • CPR/First Aid Certification/Medical Administration (or willingness to obtain)
