The Host will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by welcoming and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of dining operations.

Description

Candidates should be proficient in communication skills, have a friendly demeanor, and be able to maintain a calm and professional attitude during peak dining hours.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the restaurant.
  • Manage reservations using our reservation system.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely seating of reservations and walk-in guests.
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
  • Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to manage table assignments and wait times.
  • Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries about the restaurant, reservations, and special events.
  • Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station and entrance area.
  • Accommodate special seating requests whenever possible.
  • Monitor the dining area to ensure a pleasant and efficient guest experience.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and tact, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting up or breaking down the host/hostess station.
  • Take accurate food and drink phone orders and enter them into the POS system.
  • Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Availability to work flexible hours
  • Evenings, weekends, and holiday availability required.
