Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the agency’s insurance products and carrier guidelines.
- Assist with quoting and presenting personal lines insurance options (auto and home).
- Reach out to prospects via phone, email, and other platforms to generate interest.
- Generate and follow up on leads.
- Participate in marketing and community outreach efforts to grow the client base.
- Support licensed agents with policy servicing, documentation, and client follow-up.
- Prepare to become licensed and independently manage your own sales and clients.
- Maintain accurate notes in the agency management system (e.g., EZLynx).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to learn sales and customer service.
- Friendly, professional demeanor and willingness to engage with people.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning new systems (insurance software training provided).
- Must be able to obtain or have a Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License, 20-44 Property and Casualty Personal Lines Agent License, or 2-20 General Lines Agent License within 30 days of hire (agency will assist with licensing process).
