The Institute for Anti-Racist Education is seeking an experienced administrative professional to join as Executive Assistant. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant manages the administrative systems such as scheduling and communications for the executive team.

What You’ll Do

Manage the administrative priorities of the CEO

  • Schedule and maintain the CEO’s calendar 
  • Respond to prospective client inquiries and manage follow up 
  • Support with meeting preparation by gathering documents and supportive materials
  • Record meeting notes and next steps
  • Structure all staff agendas and communications

The Institute for Anti-Racist Education is a nonprofit organization committed to ensuring that every student receives an education that is truthful, free from bias, liberating, and offered in a supportive, loving setting. Started by former teachers, the organization drives systemic change using Four Domains of Change: assess where you are, delve deeper into the data, conduct a full curriculum audit, and empower staff to create a more equitable and inclusive learning environment. In addition to the Four Domains, the organization also facilitates educator workshops and individualized coaching sessions for education professionals at all levels. 

Compensation

This role will be compensated $15 per hour or at state’s minimum wage for up to 20 hours per week.
