What You’ll Spend Your Time Doing

  • Research prospective customers and identify companies and contacts that align with our ideal customer profile.
  • Build thoughtful outbound campaigns across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Start conversations with prospective customers to understand their goals, challenges, and potential fit.
  • Generate qualified opportunities for our Account Executive team.
  • Partner closely with teammates to share learnings, test messaging, and continuously improve.
  • Maintain accurate prospect and activity data within our systems.
  • Participate in coaching sessions, call reviews, and enablement designed to help you sharpen your craft.
  • Consistently work toward monthly pipeline goals and personal development goals.



What Success Looks Like First 30 Days

  • Complete onboarding and product training.
  • Become comfortable with our messaging, tools, and outbound process.
  • Begin prospecting activities with support from leadership and teammates.
  • Be fully ramped.


First 60 Days

  • Consistently generate meetings and opportunities.
  • Demonstrate confidence running initial conversations with prospective customers.
  • Develop an effective workflow and prospecting rhythm.


First 90 Days

  • Independently manage your day-to-day prospecting efforts.
  • Pace toward achieving monthly quota expectations.
  • Have opportunities starting to convert to closed-won revenue.

What To Expect During The Interview Process

We believe hiring should be a two-way conversation and aim to provide transparency throughout the process.


Round 1: Screening Conversation (30 minutes)

Learn more about Hummingbirds, the role, and share your background and career goals.


Round 2: Hiring Manager Interview + Mock Cold Call (60 minutes)

We’ll discuss your experience in more detail and give you an opportunity to demonstrate how you approach outbound conversations.


Round 3: Panel Interview + Take-Home Presentation (60 minutes)

Present a short assignment and meet additional members of the team.

In some cases, an additional conversation may be scheduled to support final hiring decisions.
