As a Guest Relations Host at The Hand & The Eye, you are responsible for supporting the real-time guest experience throughout the venue. This role serves as a visible, welcoming presence for guests, helping ensure arrivals feel smooth, spaces feel intuitive, and moments feel cared for. Guest Relations Hosts are highly present on the floor, anticipating guest needs, answering questions, offering guidance, and responding to concerns as they arise. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the tone, flow, and emotional experience of the evening while partnering closely with Front of House leadership, Programming, Food & Beverage, and the Magic team.

Purpose of the Role:

At The Hand & The Eye, The Host embodies the spirit of welcome and discovery. This role sets the tone for the overall experience, one that blends artistry, anticipation and genuine connection. The Host ensures that each guest and member encounter feels intentionally crafted, and deeply personal. From remembering birthdays and anniversaries to introducing subtle, delightful surprises, the Host transforms ordinary moments into extraordinary memories, always authentic, never performative.


This is a dynamic, interchangeable role that adapts to the rhythm of each evening  - knowing that every night could be different TH&TE. This is not a ‘sit back & relax’ job - it’s an exciting and meaningful role where you will make a difference through your authentic and thoughtful ‘self’. This role will not be about grand gestures. It’s about meaningful, brand-aligned touchpoints that create emotional resonance and loyalty. This person blends creativity, hospitality instinct, and logistics to transform visits into stories worth sharing.


Key Outcomes:

  • Anticipate arrivals nightly to be aware of who, what, where so that the Magic can come with ease. 
  • Stage the exterior arrival area to blend with the interior to create a seamless visual and emotional transition into the space.
  • Welcome guests and members with warmth, balancing poise and presence.
  • Maintain an active floor presence, monitoring guest flow, energy, and experience throughout service
  • Collaborate with Valet, Security, and Coat Check to ensure the guest journey feels effortless from curb to reception.
  • Partner closely with F&B and Programming to deliver tailored in-person moments aligned with the evening’s rhythm.
  • Maintain awareness of guest and member preferences, anniversaries, and milestones sharing updates with Team Magic, and F&B to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain inventory of curated gifts, cards, and magic-forward gestures that surprise and delight.
  • Serve as a visible ambassador of the brand’s aesthetic and values where hospitality is both artful and sincere.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4-7+ years in hospitality, luxury retail, experiential marketing, or event management
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for personalization
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility and alignment with the TH&TE brand
  • Warm communicator with strong follow-through and sensitivity
  • Experience with CRM platforms and POS (i.e. SevenRooms, TripleSeat)
