Job Title: Video Editing Manager

Team: Production

Reports to: Anthony Alphin - VP of Operations and Marketing Classification: Full-Time

SUMMARY:

The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content to support our marketing, branding, content, development, and communications initiatives.


RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned Video Editing and Production (70%):

  •  Edit raw footage into polished video content for various platforms, including social media (Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.), websites, email newsletters, and digital advertising.
  •  Incorporate music, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects to enhance the storytelling and engagement of video content.
  • Ensure video content adheres to brand guidelines, messaging, and quality standards.
  • Work with Production Project Manager to collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, content, development,, and events, to develop creative concepts and execute video projects.
  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
  • Provide production strategies to the Production Project Manager to coordinate and execute small to larger production projects.
  • Practice extreme ownership.

Asset Management and Organization (15%)

  • Organize and maintain a library of video assets, including raw footage, graphics, and sound files.
  • Ensure efficient file management and backup procedures to safeguard video assets and facilitate easy retrieval.

Quality Control and Feedback Incorporation (10%)

  • Review and incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders to refine video content and improve its effectiveness.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure video content meets technical specifications and is error-free before final delivery.

Industry Research and Innovation (5%)

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in video editing and production.
  • Explore new techniques, tools, and software to enhance the quality and creativity of video content produced by the team. 


Salary Range (Dependent on Experience): $60k-$90k
