About The Goode Agency

Good Coverage is an independent insurance agency committed to helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most through personalized insurance solutions and exceptional service.

Description

Build a Career Where Your Drive Matters

Goode Coverage is growing, and we are looking for licensed insurance professionals who are ready to take ownership of their success. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating new business, helping clients make informed coverage decisions, and growing alongside an entrepreneurial agency.

This is not a role for someone who wants to wait for a full calendar of company-provided leads. Limited leads may be available, but successful agents will actively build and manage their own book of business through referrals, networking, community engagement, and consistent follow-up.

What You'll Do

·  Prospect for and develop new client relationships through networking, referrals, community outreach, events, and other approved business-development activities.

·  Consult with individuals, families, and businesses to understand their needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.

·  Build, manage, and retain a sustainable book of business while maintaining a strong follow-up cadence.

·  Use the agency's CRM and other business systems to document activity, manage leads, track follow-ups, and maintain accurate client records.

·  Navigate multiple computer screens, software platforms, carrier portals, virtual meeting tools, and communication systems efficiently.

·  Participate in client meetings, networking events, community events, health fairs, training sessions, and other company-sponsored activities as needed.

·  Complete required product, carrier, compliance, licensing, and sales training through Goode Coverage and its IMO/FMO partners.

·  Meet established production expectations while delivering responsive, professional, and ethical service.

·  Maintain compliance with carrier guidelines, licensing requirements, privacy standards, and company procedures.

·  Collaborate with leadership and team members to support agency growth and improve the client experience.

Technology & Systems Readiness

This role requires more than basic computer knowledge. The successful candidate must be comfortable learning and working across several systems throughout the day, including:

·  Customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, including Nutshell or a comparable system.

·  Licensing and carrier appointment platforms, including SureLC and carrier portals.

·  Microsoft 365 applications, email, shared documents, spreadsheets, and cloud-based files.

·  Virtual meeting and communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and RingCentral.

·  Multiple browser tabs, screens, and software applications while maintaining accuracy and organization.

·  New technology and platforms introduced as the agency grows.

What Success Looks Like

·  Produce at least $15,000 in APV during the first three months.

·  Develop a clear prospecting strategy and consistently grow a personal pipeline and book of business.

·  Use limited company-provided leads responsibly and demonstrate strong follow-up before receiving additional lead opportunities.

·  Maintain organized, timely, and accurate activity in the CRM and other required systems.

·  Build trust with clients by listening carefully, educating clearly, and recommending coverage responsibly.

·  Remain responsive, accountable, coachable, and dependable in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Compensation & Contract-to-Hire Structure

·  $500 weekly compensation for the first 12 weeks.

·  Following the initial 12-week period, compensation transitions to commission-based earnings.

·  Agents who produce more than $25,000 APV by the end of the third month may qualify for a performance bonus.

·  This is a production-driven opportunity. Earnings and continued placement are tied to performance, activity, compliance, and the ability to build and maintain business.

·  The company provides limited leads. Agents are expected to generate and grow their own book of business.

Required Qualifications & Skills

·  Active Life & Health insurance license in at least one hiring state (Texas, Florida, or Tennessee).

·  Ability to obtain and maintain all required carrier appointments, certifications, and state licenses.

·  Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally, listen actively, and build trust with clients.

·  Strong time-management, organization, and follow-up skills.

·  Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and remain productive without constant supervision.

·  Strong technology aptitude and the ability to learn and navigate multiple systems and platforms.

·  Reliable internet access, a professional remote workspace, and dependable communication availability.

·  Willingness to attend required meetings, training, networking events, health fairs, and other business activities.

·        A disciplined, flexible self-starter who follows through without needing to be chased for updates or next steps.

·        A humble, coachable, and organized professional who can adapt as the agency grows and priorities shift.

Preferred Qualifications

·  Prior insurance sales, client service, or business-development experience.

·  Medicare, annuity, Property & Casualty, or commercial insurance experience or licensing.

·  Experience generating leads, building referral relationships, or developing a book of business.

·  Experience using CRM platforms and carrier or licensing systems.

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Work Arrangement & Schedule

Florida and Tennessee positions are fully remote. Texas positions are hybrid and generally require 5-10 in-office hours per week. Agents may also attend local client meetings, networking activities, community events, health fairs, training sessions, and other business functions. The role averages approximately 30 hours per week, with additional time required based on prospecting activity, production goals, client needs, and business demands.
