Where You Fit

The Project Management Intern plays a vital role in keeping Glo's projects organized, on track, and aligned with company goals. Reporting directly to the COO, this position focuses on maintaining accurate project statuses by regularly engaging with the product creative, engineering, and supply chain teams to gather key updates and track timelines. This information will be used to update and manage Gantt charts for concurrent projects, ensuring senior management has clear visibility into progress and potential risks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, and an interest in project management.


Expectation

The primary expectation for the Project Management Intern is to help provide clarity and organization to Glo’s projects by maintaining accurate, up-to-date information and timelines. The intern will facilitate communication between teams, update Gantt charts, and present concise project reports to senior leadership. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong grasp of project management tools, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Regularly communicate with the product creative, engineering, and supply chain teams to gather updates on timelines, milestones, and project deliverables.
  • Maintain and update Gantt charts to track progress across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Utilize project management tools such as Monday.com or Microsoft Project to organize and manage project workflows.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise project status reports for senior management, highlighting key updates, potential risks, and progress.
  • Identify project bottlenecks or delays and work with stakeholders to address challenges.
  • Assist the COO with associated process development to help organize and maintain documentation related to projects, ensuring it is accessible and well-structured.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Operations, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Gantt charts and experience using project management tools
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working on cross-functional teams or coordinating efforts between units
  • Hands-on experience with project tracking and reporting, particularly using Gantt charts.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in project management, operations, or organizational leadership.


Salary

$11 - $15 per hour
