Your Role: Much More Than Meets the Eye

While the joy of cuddling with a purring feline or playful pup is undeniable, this job requires a heart full of dedication. Whether it's navigating snowy roads to ensure each pet is fed, medicated, and content, braving scorching suns, or tackling winter's chill to guarantee every pet gets their moment in the fresh air. Perhaps today you'll lift a senior dog, ensuring they can navigate stairs, and tomorrow you might embark on a treasure hunt beneath couches, searching for an elusive feline. We go the extra mile – from feeding to medication, from playtime to ensuring every animal feels safe, respected, and truly loved.

Here's What We're Looking For:

🐕 Skills & Experience 🐈

• Personal, professional, or volunteer experience in pet care
• Ability to care for a spectrum of cat and dog breeds and sizes
• Experience in demanding, detail-driven roles
• Strong sense of timeliness, accountability, and an eye for detail
• Self-sufficiency and capability to work unsupervised
• Physical capability: Safe lifting of up to 50 lbs and energetic 30-minute walks
• Reliable transportation & a modern smartphone
• Ability and willingness to conduct work directly from various phone apps
• An advocate of safety in workspaces
• A heart that resonates with patience, empathy, and our force-free ethos
• Passion for collaborating with a team of animal loving professionals
• Adept at clear, organized communication, essential for our team environment where care duties are often shared across multiple team members within a household
• Some weekend and holiday work required
• Preference will be given to candidates with vet tech experience, animal reiki knowledge, or certifications in pet first aid and CPR.
• Must be available to work multiple shifts during two of the three upcoming holiday time frames: Thanksgiving Week 11/21-11/26; Christmas Time 12/21-12/27; New Year's Week 12/28-01/03
• High School Graduate

Daily Duties:

• Deliver top-notch care, including feeding, enrichment, and medication
• Efficient communication with our vibrant team and our treasured clients
• Contribute actively to our training programs and events

What You'll Gain:

• $17.20-19.20/hr (base pay) + perks of tips and mileage reimbursement
• Monthly earnings potential ($400 - $1600) based on dedication and demand
