The Detroit Bus Company is looking for Year-Round CDL B School Bus Operators to join our team in providing the best student transportation around. We’re seeking full-time and robust part-time operators to operate our Art Buses for high-quality reservations in Detroit and around the surrounding area.

The full-time position pays $25/hour plus tips and includes full benefits (health insurance, dental, vision, and life), paid time-off and paid holidays. Shifts are continuous (no unpaid time between pick-ups and drop-offs) and year-round.

We primarily operate in Detroit and the surrounding communities, so there's no overnight or out-of-state trips.

We want you to find a career worth sticking around for, so there's an hourly raise after 90 days, with the eventual maximum reaching $30/hour plus tips.

About the Job

This position is for field trips, mornings and afternoons, from Monday through Friday. Candidates should have weekday availability; this is not a weekends and nights role. We operate field trips year-round in partnership with summer student programming, so you won't need to worry about a seasonal lull in the summer.
