Guest Services Team Member at The Cove Riverwalk Villas | Wilmington, NC (On-Site). Hourly, Non-Exempt. Schedule: Evenings + Weekend Days | Days Off: Tuesday & Wednesday. At The Cove, we’re not just offering a place to stay. We’re creating a one-of-a-kind experience on the water, and our Guest Services crew is at the center of that. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in making others feel welcomed, cared for, and taken care of from the moment they arrive. This is a highly guest-facing role with a mix of hospitality, operations, and light retail responsibilities as we expand into our new office/store space.

Description

What You’ll Do 

  • Be a primary point of contact for guests before, during, and after their stay 
  • Respond to calls, texts, and messages quickly and thoughtfully 
  • Assist with check-ins, wayfinding, and hands-on guest needs 
  • Move throughout the property regularly, supporting guests on-site 
  • Coordinate with cleaning, maintenance, and dock crew 
  • Support operations of the office/store including guest purchases and inventory 
  • Coordinate guest enhancements like flowers, cakes, and experiences 
  • Maintain accurate notes on guest interactions and assist with reservations 


Important to Know About This Role 

  • This is not a desk job – you’ll be on your feet and moving throughout the property 
  • There is a physical component including walking, carrying items, and being outdoors 
  • Shifts are primarily evenings and weekends 
  • Requires flexibility and strong problem-solving

This isn’t a traditional front desk role. You’ll help shape how guests feel about their entire stay, not just check them in.
