Complete transactions, handle money in all forms responsibly and maintain accuracy of point-of-sale purchases.
Use good body language and eye contact, displaying a friendly and outgoing attitude.
Be prepared to handle customer questions adequately and appropriately.
Build trustful relationships with customers to encourage return visits.
Stock cigarettes behind the customer service desk.
Understand and be knowledgeable of the merchandise for sale to assist customers and accurately process transactions
Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned by department management and store management.
Ensure register tape, bags, and all authorized cleaning supplies are stocked to appropriate levels before, during, and at the end of all shifts and replenish items as needed.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment before, during, and at the end of all shifts.
