The Crossings Kids Coordinator will provide assistance to the Children's Director and Assistant Children's Director during the work week (Monday-Thursday) and also on Sunday mornings as needed. This leader will provide leadership, volunteer assistance and direction for the Crossings Kids volunteer teams, communicating with and helping lead volunteers, parents and children. Part-time, 20 hours per week.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • We require all staff to either be a partner of our church or be willing and eligible to be a partner of our church.
  • Praying for this ministry, Crossings Kids, families and children.
  • Assisting with scheduling of volunteers and Sunday teams.
  • Assistance with set-up and clean-up of Crossings Kids hallways on Sundays, as needed.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Crossings Kids team members.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Crossings kids and families.
  • As needed, provide leadership in Crossings Kids on Sunday mornings.
  • Assistance with curriculum for Crossings Kids on Sunday mornings.
  • With guidance from the Children's Directors, lead and encourage Crossings Kids Coaches on Sunday mornings.
  • Assist with maintaining safe, clean, and aesthetic Crossings Kids environments.
  • Assist with hosting and logistical matters related to Crossings Kids Special Events.


Spiritual Health

  • Stay in God's Word regularly by doing personal devotions or bible studies.
  • Keep a healthy prayer life. Praying daily for your family, our church and the ministry.
  • Worship often. Worship at home, in your car, in your kitchen, with your kids, ANYWHERE!
  • Fellowship with others regularly. Fight against isolation as much as possible. Regularly being in community with other believers helps us so much. Attend church regularly and be in community with other church members.


Social Covenant

  • Honor One Another - We do this in our speech of other people and in our hearts. The opposite would be gossiping, complaining or criticizing others. Go to the director with any concerns. Always assume the best about others; don't assign motives.
