Assistant teacher to children ages 1-3 years old.
We are the only non-profit daycare in the Chamberlain community. We are run by a Parent Volunteer Board of Directors. As a non-profit we do have to engage with the community and fundraise outside of regular work hours. Our fundraising allows us to maintain lower child care rates and cover essential costs like payroll, building maintenance, toys, and pre-school supplies.
We offer discounted childcare to our staff at 300/month for 2 to 3 children and 150/month for 1 child.
Staff recieve an end of the year holiday bonus and 48 hours of PTO to use annually.
We offer flexible scheduling of five 8 hour days or four 10 hour days.
Lunch is provided and paid for.
Staff get two 15 minute on-site breaks.
Supervising and engaging with children, assisting lead teachers with lesson plans and daily activities, maintaining a safe and hygienic classroom environment, and supporting children's physical, social, and emotional development through nurturing interactions and activities. They also help with routines like feeding and diapering and maintaining communication with parents.
CPR certified or willing to become CPR certified within 90 days of hire.
Experience working with children.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
$12.5 - $13.5 per hour
