We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Worship Arts Coordinator to lead and inspire our worship arts ministry. Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of weekly worship services, including music selection, stage design, and multimedia elements.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers in various worship arts areas such as choir, band, tech team, drama, and visual arts.
  • Collaborate with pastors and ministry leaders to develop creative worship themes that resonate with the congregation’s spiritual journey.
  • Oversee the scheduling of rehearsals and ensure all worship team members are prepared for services.
  • Organize special arts events, outreach programs, and seasonal productions to engage the community and foster spiritual growth.
  • Provide guidance on integrating Biblical principles into worship experiences when appropriate.
  • Support the development of children’s and youth ministries by incorporating age-appropriate worship activities that nurture faith from a young age.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or ministry/music training preferred, but not required.
  • Proven leadership experience in a church or faith-based setting with a focus on worship arts or related creative ministries.
  • Strong vocal and musical ability with proficiency on a lead instrument.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, volunteers, and congregation members of all ages and cultures.
  • Experience in event planning, stage management, or multimedia production within a church environment, a plus.
  • Knowledge of Biblical lifestyle principles and ability to incorporate them into worship settings when needed.
  • Ability to work with children and youth in developing engaging worship activities suited for different age groups.
  • Skills in mentoring volunteers and fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
  • Familiarity with community outreach initiatives is a plus.
