Description

The Center for Trauma, Stress, and Anxiety (CTSA) is hiring experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our Maryland group practice. We are seeking independently licensed LCPCs, LCSW-Cs, LMFTs, mand other qualified behavioral health clinicians who want the autonomy of private practice with the support, benefits, referrals, and infrastructure of an established group practice.

You focus on your clients. We run the practice.

What We Offer:

  • W-2 employment
  • $50–$60 per completed clinical session, based on experience and CTSA compensation tier
  • Full-time status at 25 clinical sessions/points per week
  • Health benefits for eligible full-time employees
  • Retirement benefits (with 4% match)
  • Paid time off
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Hybrid in-person and telehealth work
  • Consistent referral generation and intake support
  • Billing, credentialing, collections, marketing, EHR, and administrative support
  • Furnished professional office space
  • Free in-house clinical training, including continuing education (CE) opportunities
  • Ongoing clinical consultation and professional development
  • Opportunities to develop a clinical specialty and pursue advanced training
  • Career pathways into senior clinician, clinical supervision, and leadership roles

Practice Without Running a Practice

Experienced therapists have more options than ever. You can build a solo practice, join an insurance platform, or work for a large behavioral health company.

CTSA offers another option.

You maintain meaningful autonomy over your schedule, clinical interests, and the caseload you build while our team handles much of the work happening behind the scenes: referrals, credentialing, billing and collections, intake support, marketing, technology, office infrastructure, and practice operations.

Already have an established caseload or independent practice? We welcome conversations with clinicians who may be interested in appropriately transitioning an existing practice while respecting client choice and current professional obligations.

Who We're Looking For:

We are looking for clinicians who are experienced, clinically strong, dependable, and invested in providing excellent care.

Candidates must:

  • Hold an active, unrestricted independent clinical license in Maryland as an LCPC, LCSW-C, LMFT, or other qualifying independently licensed behavioral health professional
  • Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, documentation, and ethical practice
  • Be comfortable practicing independently while collaborating with a clinical team
  • Maintain CTSA's full-time clinical productivity expectations
  • Participate in CTSA's required in-house clinical training and professional development program
  • Value continued learning and high-quality clinical care

Experience or advanced training in trauma, PTSD, anxiety disorders, EMDR, somatic therapy, attachment, OCD, couples/family therapy, neurodivergence, integrative mental health, or related specialty areas is especially valued.

Build the Clinical Career You Want

We don't believe career growth should mean simply adding more clients to your schedule.

CTSA is intentionally building pathways for clinicians to deepen their expertise, pursue advanced training, become senior clinicians, supervise developing therapists, and eventually move into clinical leadership if that is where their career takes them.

If you want the autonomy of clinical practice without having to build and operate an entire business around it, we'd like to meet you.
