Description

Couples Therapist

We believe relationship work matters deeply.

Relationships have the power to heal, wound, regulate, dysregulate, connect, and transform us.

At CTSA, we believe couples therapy deserves depth, intentionality, and specialized clinical skill... not surface-level communication coaching or one-size-fits-all interventions.

We are seeking a thoughtful, relationally-oriented couples therapist who is passionate about helping partners navigate conflict, attachment wounds, intimacy struggles, betrayal, disconnection, and the complexity of being human together.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, integrative, and mission-driven clinical team that values both clinical excellence and genuine human connection.

Who We Are

CTSA is an integrative mental health and wellness organization specializing in:

  • Trauma
  • Anxiety
  • Attachment and relational concerns
  • Stress-related conditions
  • Whole-person healing

Our multidisciplinary team includes:

  • Psychologists
  • Counselors
  • Social workers
  • Psychiatric providers
  • Wellness practitioners
  • Integrative and complementary providers

Through collaboration with our sister organization, Get Centered Wellness, we also offer:

  • Therapeutic yoga
  • Meditation
  • Sound healing
  • Retreats and intensives
  • Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy
  • Educational programming and CEUs
  • Leadership and professional development opportunities

We are deeply committed to advancing both clinical excellence and human connection.

About the Role

This role is ideal for a clinician who:

  • Loves couples and relationship work
  • Thinks relationally and systemically
  • Enjoys depth-oriented psychotherapy
  • Values strong clinical thinking and conceptualization
  • Appreciates collaboration and consultation
  • Wants to continue refining their craft over time

The position is primarily outpatient psychotherapy-focused and may include an intentional blend of:

  • Couples therapy
  • Individual therapy
  • Premarital counseling
  • Relationship-focused intensives or workshops
  • Group offerings or psychoeducation (if interested)

We are especially interested in clinicians who have pursued advanced training in couples therapy or relational treatment approaches, such as:

  • Gottman Method
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Imago Relationship Therapy
  • Relational Life Therapy (RLT)
  • Attachment-focused or systemic models
  • Other advanced relational or couples-focused approaches

Advanced certification is not required, but a strong commitment to continued growth and specialization in couples work is highly valued.

Who Thrives at CTSA

The clinicians who thrive here are people who:

  • Care deeply about providing exceptional care
  • Value emotional depth and relational nuance
  • Want collaboration rather than isolation
  • Appreciate accountability and professionalism
  • Are grounded, emotionally mature, and growth-oriented
  • Enjoy lifelong learning and advanced clinical development
  • Want meaningful work and long-term professional growth
  • Believe healing should address the whole person — mind, body, relationships, and nervous system

Our clinicians are not “clock in, clock out” therapists.

They are thoughtful professionals who care deeply about their clients, their teammates, and the impact they are making in the lives of individuals, couples, and families.
