Join CTSA as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and build a role around your professional goals, from part- or full-time clinical practice to opportunities in supervision, training, consultation, program development, and clinical leadership.
The Center for Trauma, Stress, and Anxiety, LLC, is a growing multidisciplinary group mental health practice with a mission to be the premier integrative health and wellness resource for trauma and anxiety in our community. We have three locations (Bel Air, Nottingham/Perry Hall, and Cockeysville/Hunt Valley). We partner with our sister practice, Get Centered Wellness, in Bel Air to offer vibrational sound healing, therapeutic yoga, reiki, meditation, psychedelic assisted therapy, intensives, retreats, and more.
We are looking to meet the growing needs of our communities and add to our talented and passionate team. If you are looking to be part of an exceptional collective of healers, focused on treating trauma and anxiety in an integrative, collaborative setting, you're in the right place!
The Center for Trauma, Stress, and Anxiety (CTSA) is seeking a Maryland Licensed Psychologist to join our outpatient mental health practice.
This is an opportunity for a psychologist who wants to do meaningful clinical work without having to build and operate an entire private practice, and who wants room for their career to evolve. Your primary role may be psychotherapy, but opportunities to incorporate clinical supervision, consultation, training, program development, or leadership may also be available based on your interests, qualifications, and CTSA's needs.
You focus on your clients and your clinical development. We provide the infrastructure behind the practice.
Psychologists who incorporate supervision or other defined professional responsibilities into their role may have additional earning potential beyond the clinical compensation range.
We don't believe the only way for an experienced clinician to grow professionally (or financially) should be to keep adding more clients to their schedule.
Some psychologists join CTSA because they want to focus primarily on excellent clinical work. Others want to gradually build a broader professional role.
Depending on your interests and CTSA's needs, opportunities may include:
These responsibilities are not required. We are interested in what you do exceptionally well, what you want to continue developing, and what you want the next stage of your career to look like.
CTSA provides the infrastructure necessary to build and maintain a strong clinical practice without managing the business behind it.
We provide:
You maintain meaningful autonomy over your schedule, clinical interests, and professional development while practicing within an established clinical organization.
Already have a private practice or established caseload? We welcome conversations with psychologists interested in appropriately transitioning some or all of their clinical work to CTSA while respecting client choice, existing professional obligations, and applicable ethical requirements.
CTSA is an outpatient mental health practice specializing in trauma, stress, anxiety, and related concerns. Our approach emphasizes thoughtful case conceptualization, strong therapeutic relationships, evidence-informed practice, and understanding the patterns and adaptations underlying a client's presenting symptoms.
We are particularly interested in psychologists with experience or advanced training in areas such as:
You do not need to specialize in all of these areas. We are interested in the expertise you already bring to the team and what you want to continue developing.
Candidates must:
Maryland Board approval to provide clinical supervision is valued but not required if seeking a non-supervisory position.
You can build a private practice and manage referrals, credentialing, billing, collections, marketing, technology, office expenses, and administration yourself.
Or you can put more of that energy into being a psychologist.
At CTSA, you'll have the infrastructure and professional community of an established group practice while maintaining meaningful autonomy over your clinical work. And if you eventually want your career to include more than psychotherapy, there is room to explore supervision, teaching, program development, consultation, and leadership without having to leave clinical practice entirely.
If you're looking for a place where you can do excellent clinical work, continue developing professionally, and build what comes next in your career, we'd like to meet you.
