Experienced Marine Service Technician

The Boat Shop in Tafton, Pennsylvania, is seeking an experienced Marine Service Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain boats, engines, and marine systems
• Perform routine maintenance, winterization, and seasonal services
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently
• Document work performed on repair orders
• Communicate with the service manager regarding repair needs and timelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Previous marine technician experience required
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Experience with inboard, outboard, and sterndrive systems preferred
• Familiarity with Yamaha, Volvo Penta, MerCruiser, Indmar, or similar brands is a plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be dependable, professional, and able to work well with a team
• Marine certifications are preferred but not required
